Above all else, our mission at Little City Love is to inspire honest and intimate dialogue. We believe everyone has wisdom to share. We believe words are magic. We believe that seeking opportunities — rather than waiting for occasions — to connect meaningfully with others is the path to a fulfilling life.

Founded in 2014, our works are influenced by a collective passion for reading, writing, and exploring. For us, every day is about discovery — moments and words that remind us of who we are and all the places we have yet to go.

"It is also good to love: because love is difficult. For one human being to love another human being: that is perhaps the most difficult task that has been entrusted to us, the ultimate task, the final test and proof, the work for which all other work is merely preparation." -- Rainer Maria Rilke

"Don't assume, ask. Be kind. Tell the truth, don't say anything you can't stand behind fully. Have integrity. Tell people how you feel." -- Warsan Shire

"We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way." -- Viktor Frankl

"And that’s the thing about people who mean everything they say. They think everyone else does too." -- Khaled Hosseini

"I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can’t see from the center." -- Kurt Vonnegut
